Los Angeles Beer Week is an annual event that celebrates the craft beer culture of the city. Every June, the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild organizes this event to bring together beer enthusiasts from all over the city. This year, the 14th edition of LA Beer Week will kick off on June 18th with a beer festival in downtown Los Angeles. The festival will feature dozens of vendors, 150 draft beers, live music, food, games, and more.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Food Forward, an organization that already has ties to Los Angeles. At the LA Independent Beer Fest at Long Beach's Shoreline Water Park, attendees can sample one or more of the 150 available draft beers. Organizers encourage attendees to make themselves comfortable with camping chairs and blankets while enjoying the festival. Birdie G's chef, Jeremy Fox, appeared on the YouTube show Don't Panic Pantry to demonstrate how to prepare an impromptu meal. Los Angeles Beer Week is open to those 21 years of age or older.
